Twi-fecta via Kimmel & Hot Topic Tour

November 6th, 2009 Hollywood taken by a Twi-storm:

By now, you've all seen Jimmy Kimmel's interview with the holy twi-nity countless times. I gotta say, being there...well it was truly an amazing experience to be so close to the 3 of them AND to see them all interviewed on one show.

Can you believe the riot that 3 people, yes...mere people with extraordinary circumstances can cause in one afternoon? Well imagine these 3 plus an entire cast of extraordinary people AND a crowd of hundreds of screaming fans waiting to see them.

Yes, I was part of the mayhem...but mostly the controlled mayhem across the street at the Jimmy Kimmel Live studio. I had to make a tough decision; risk going to Jimmy Kimmel or go to the HT Tour.  I chose the intimate venue with the Twi-fecta rather than the mass at Hollywood & Highland (although to my surprise, I was sorta able to do both).

The show gave us the opportunity to ask any cast member any question we wanted...and so, I turned to Twitter to see what people wanted to know.  The overwhelming question was "when is the stoli shirt going to make an appearance?" So, I asked...unfortunately, my question wasn't sarcastic enough (the overwhelmingly common sense of humor of Jimmy's people) so it wasn't chosen. However, a question that I gave another gal, Ana, on behalf of a Twitter follower WAS chosen and she got to ask Robert Pattinson (::nummy::) if the misbuttoning of his shirt was a fashion statement or if he just dressed in a hurry. The panicked look on his face when he thought that he had misbuttoned his shirt that day was priceless.

When the filming was done and we exited the studio; the euphoria of sitting 4 rows away from these 3 beautiful people began to wear off.  That's when I heard it-the exhuberant screaming from across the street...that meant the Hot Topic Tour was still going on! I had a chance to see everyone else! We found the best spot we could and I pulled out my trusty camera and was able to snap a few pictures. I know there are tons out there that are better...but heck, I was 3 stories up and had a terrible vantage point...and who cares? They may be crappy pictures...but they're my memories ;) Enjoy!
