Pocket Edward took his first trip (of many...annual passholders again!) to Disneyland on Sunday! Unfortunately, his inaugural trip was not the best because I didn't have a whole lot of support there with me, besides my hubs...who surprised the heck out of me by being so supportive. LOL! Otherwise, we were with my in-laws...and I don't think they understood the concept of having an action figure and taking pictures of him throughout the park. Therefore, I only snuck in a few...next time maybe we will have a bit more fun with Pocket Edward.
On my way to Disneyland - the happiest place on earth.
I debated...bring P.E. or not...but I figured, heck...since this is our first visit of the year...he just had to go. I didn't care who said/thought anything...I bought P.E. for just such an occassion so he was going to the happiest place on earth!
Sure...he may be "the big cheese" but he certainly has a ginormous head!
It's tough being an action figure...can't find any mouse ears to fit your head! It has now become my mission to find a pair of ears that will somewhat fit his well-coiffed head.
Wait til Jacob gets a look at this! I'M the Alpha...muahahahahaha
The hubs and I were waiting in line at Soarin' Over California and I looked up and saw this sign...and just HAD to snap a picture! Only my hubs was tall enough to reach the sign so he took one for the proverbial team and waited as I snapped multiple shots. He said that girls were laughing at him, yet he still stood there and waited...what a trooper!!
Ummm...I think I'm too small for Soarin' Over California. I'm definitely shorter than the indicator that is about 3 feet above me.
I wanted to get a picture of P.E. on some kind of ride...and can you believe that in 6 hours, this was the only ride we went on?! Yep, it was just that kind of day...next time, he'll go on MANY MANY rides.
It's like being at the zoo...so many tasty things through the looking glass...damn you looking glass.
We headed to the Animation Studio to take in the Toy Story Zoetrope - a spinning wonderwheel full of Toy Story characters that when spun and hit with strobe lights creates a magical story of running, bouncing and jumping creatures. It's one of my favorite, hidden gems at California Adventure.
I think I'll hide in this cave for those Brother Bear bears to come out again...chomp chomp chomp.
Our last bit of fun that day was the Brother Bear Rope Challenge...I meant to take some pictures of P.E. navigating the ropes course but alas, I completely forgot whilst being thrown around the rope bridge by running children and bouncing adults (namely the hubs).
Best joke of the day?!
- Why does Tigger bounce around on his tail all day?
....because he doesn't want to step on Pooh.
OMG too freaking funny! Our tram guide at the end of the day was a HOOT and told jokes on our way back to the parking structure. <3 him!
