The Twilight Saga: Eclipse - full trailer

Finally! It's here! ::jump up and down...squeel with delight!:: The first, full-length trailer of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse; the third installment of the wildly popular series! It's 1:32 seconds of beauty...and sometime in that span of 1:32 seconds, while I watched with mouth wide open, I had to remind myself to breathe.

It's been so long since Summit gave us anything new...so we Twi-hards have been foaming at the mouth for any morsel that they'd throw our way. They didn't disappoint with this rather large chunk!

::ok, here's my 2 cents!::

1. Did I say 1:32 seconds of beauty? make that 1:27 seconds...cuz the first 5 seconds are the "preview" green screen...darn them ;)

2. The opening graphic for Summit (I <3 that they change it for every film!) is amazingly detailed...textured, like I just want to touch it.

3. :17 - ok, I think someone had to plant all those flowers into that meadow...cuz it looks too perfectly spaced for actual growth...or CGI perhaps?

4. :31 - ::girlie giggle::

5. :37 - LOVE LOVE LOVE the interaction with the parents!!

6. :43 - can someone tell me what the heck is up with Jacob's hair?! Could this be after the tent scene?! Seems like morning hair to me...

7. :59 - OMG OMG OMG

8. 1:05 - That stunt is AMAZING!!! Even though I shouldn't...I gotta give it up to Victoria here...she's truly amazing.

9. 1:09 - our first look at Bryce Dallas Howard (yes, Ron Howard's daughter) as Victoria. I must admit...I miss Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria - Twilight/New Moon). She had a wonderful feline quality about her that fit Victoria SOOO well. However, I'm going to give Bryce the benefit of the doubt and try not to prejudge her...we'll let her portrayal of Victoria speak for itself.

10. 1:11 - what girl in her right mind wouldn't want to hear Edward tell them he would protect her, no matter what?! with that look? ::melt::

11. 1:19 - Eclipse started filming 2 months after New Moon wrapped...and in those 2 months it appears that Taylor's workouts may have slowed down a bit. Sure, he's fit...but he's not New Moon fit. And I guess, to be fair to you Jacob people (I don't get it) what girl wouldn't be thrilled to pieces to hear that a guy would fight for you until your heart stops beating?

Overall, I thought that the trailer was actually worth the wait! We were expecting to see bits and pieces of trailer teasers for the past month or so...but not too long ago we learned that Summit replaced the current editor with someone else.

Could that be what was holding the release of a trailer? If so, what kind of issues could that cause for the actual movie? What we do know is the release date has not been moved...it is still schedueled to release in theaters on Wednesday, June 30th at midnight.
